Benue State Politician Sparks Outrage As He Donates Brand New Ropes To His Community For Tying Of Goats (Photos)

Hon. Daniel Ukpera who happens to be a politician in Benue State politician and a former House of Assembly contender has made a recent donation that has sparked outrage on social media.

His gesture comes after the Governor of Benue indicated the need for these animal farmers to curb open space grazing.

To help these farmers curb the malice, he has donated bulks of brand new colourful ropes to goat rearers to prevent free movement and open grazing of goats.

Hon. Ukpera stated in his speech while making his donation that the Benue State Government has enforced the law to prohibit free Grazing of livestock and it has become very necessary for them to lead by example for their visitors (Fulani herdsmen) to also follow.

After his humble gesture, a beneficiary who spoke for all the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation saying;

“Our pigs are always in dens but tying of goats is our major challenge because we use local fibre and mosquito nets to twist the ropes which cannot stand the test of time.

God will bless you, Ukpera, for having the interest of your people at heart even as you have not held any elective or appointive position”.
